How long does it take to assemble an Almost Heaven sauna?
Most of our indoor and outdoor barrel saunas can be fully assembled by two people in approximately 4 to 6 hours. All components are pre-cut and the kits include a comprehensive assembly manual.
What are the electrical requirements for my sauna heater?
While our smaller units may use a standard 110V plug, most of our traditional Finnish heaters require a 220V, 30-amp or 40-amp dedicated circuit. We recommend consulting a licensed electrician for the final hookup.
How is the sauna shipped and delivered?
Your sauna will arrive via a common carrier truck on a large pallet. The trucking company will provide a lift-gate service to drop the pallet at the end of your driveway, and you can then move the individual pieces to your assembly site.
Can the sauna be placed outdoors in any climate?
Yes, our outdoor barrel saunas are designed to withstand all weather conditions. The solid wood staves are naturally resistant to decay, though we recommend applying a UV-inhibiting stain to the exterior to maintain the wood's original color.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy for un-assembled products in their original packaging. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs and a restocking fee may apply.
Do I need a special floor or foundation for my sauna?
Outdoor saunas should be placed on a level surface such as a concrete pad, paved stones, or a reinforced wooden deck. Indoor saunas can be placed on tile, concrete, or laminate, but we do not recommend placing them directly on carpet.
